It was actually an illusion. His legs are actually uneven lengths. Which only compounded by the fact that Tarky had him running in circles.

I noticed that too on his right side.

Thought it may have been injury/treatment related.

In another note, my goodness he is a bad, bad striker.
Everton's downfall cant be helped when they're expecting him to lead the line.

Would like to see his stats for the last 2 or 3 seasons.
I saw him nick a goal last week, but other than that cant remember him making much if any impact in any games I see of Everton

Noticed that thought he tucked one leg up seen it done by players before
Think they do it to get a better kick on the ball or something its bizarre to say the least

The Ronaldo look. That’s the only similarity between the two. DCL is a Championship striker.

We are all agreed. He is never a PL line leading CF.
Age on his side but he’d be better off taking the Tammy Abrahams route and going on a few Championship loans but Everton are desperate.

One leg pulled up after a tackle and for some reason, he never pulled it back down. Like shorts from the eighties they were that tight!!

So we slag a 22yr old English centre forward off for doing nothing but Barnes and Wood who have the benefit of playing up front together do nothing and get praised on here all the time.

Me thinks double standards.

If I was his manager I could make him into a star player. Sell him to a Div1 club.

What a difference since Ancelotti took over at Everton - 16 goals in total, 13 in the Premier League, the first of them against us.

A striker is only as good as the service, put Chris Wood in the City side and he could tap in 20+ a season too.

His age and too class coach will have benefitted him immensely in the last season.

Think itll be the first season he manages to outscore Wood, but IMO he will still fall short of the best English forward goal tally, which for me is Mr Ings.

DCL finished on 13 without penalties last year at 22 in a poor Everton side. Wood who scored 14, which is excellent for us should be in his prime years.

A little rumour last week that United were looking at him for 70/80m.

Danny Ings has been excellent and should have some England game time. Both deserve call ups.

I agree.
People can make claims or stats to strengthen their point.

I always use, Wood always plays in a 2, effectively gets 50% of any of the chances we create for our forwards, and I'd presume our genuine chances created or shots on target are far less than most teams in the league.

I watch closely and discuss him often, as I have an Everton mate, who calls Wood an old slow donkey, yet DCL is the next Henry.

Football is a strange game when trying to find advantages
Is playing in a two up front where both centre halves have to mark easier, or 3 up front?

Teams use the the systems differently so hard to answer. Liverpool in the 3 don't seem to have Firminho there for scoring, more providing.

You have to give a lot of credit to Everton for keeping on playing and developing their youngster.
A lot of pressure from outsiders saying he didn't score enough goals etc..
With lots of money to spend it would of been easy to replace him
