Or Notlob vs the Lashers to use the lingo of this board, anyhoo for those of you that care about the welfare of the North West teams which would you prefer to win this evening.

Bolton have a real mountain to climb with lots of new young players and Pool are celebrating losing the grip that Oyston had on them.

Bolton for me.

I neither think that it is, nor wish for, Bolton’s pain to be at its worst just yet.

It'll be a draw, as the way it's going neither team would score if they played all night!

You mean the one where we beat Everton?

Everton, who routinely spend £150-£200m every year, and fail to improve?

You quite clearly HAVEN'T seen '81 before.... :?

I wonder what some people expect. Was sat next to a chap on Saturday, kept morning that it was dross & that he was about to leave, then tried to hug me when Jeff scored. Left on 86 mins!!!
Personally enjoyed the match very much - that’s what it is, a MATCH. Nobody should expect a goal fest, but some muppets seem to think they should. I just wonder how many on here have actually ever played??

I thought it was a cracking game on Saturday ! The level of intensity these PL games are played at is incredible and games like Saturday's, where everything can change in a moment and our whole team is focused and busting-a-gut, are just so engrossing. Night-and-day compared to many games in the Championship and lower down.

If you watch the 4k video the club released (on YouTube too) you'll see the referee blowing the whistle in the 97th minute and Lowton way off in the distance leaping and punching the air. Focusedandbustingagut dot com.

I was at a Supporters Groups meeting last night so missed this game. Was it as bad as I’ve read?

I think 0-0 makes it sound more exciting than it really was.

Do you remember in the dregs of 1987-88 season when we beat Torquay 1-0 and Sean McGrory (on the left wing!) scored our goal? It was a bit like that, without the goal.
