Another sign of what a good club we are and how we care for the players as individuals. Hopefully this lad will come good and show us the same loyalty.

I've seen him three times and it would be totally unfair to say he hasn't impressed. The first two were pre-season when he was clearly struggling and I just happened to be right there on the touchline at Bamber Bridge when he came off and he looked distraught. He didn't impress on Sunday but it is his first game.

That's been the one problem with the under-23s this season. Last season we had Dan Agyei & Tinashe Chakwana scoring goals for fun. This season we've really struggled to score goals. They won't have offered him any sort of deal if they didn't think he was up to it so it will be interesting watching him now to see how he does.

Good luck to the lad but feeling pain in his knees so young is worrying.

Not necessarily. Could just have been due to the intensity of training as he suggested.

I think medicals are a bit more thorough than a concerned comment on a message board :D

I certainly remember a young Steven Gerrard suffering from knee problems in his early career. This was put down to his age, and was predicted to get better as he matured.
