There'll be big demand for this one, we've got a back up option for the home end but hopefully it doesn't come to that.

Think both this game and the Spurs will probably sell out at the 4000 mark, can't see either making general sale

It will be if they give us the normal 3k haha. It's getting too near Xmas for some, well that's the replies I got when telling of the cheap train tickets coming out.

Everybody I spoke to on Saturday said they were going to Sheff Utd (around 4 groups of 10) which only go to a few away games a year.

Just had a quick look for the capacity of BL and it's 32,700.

So by Premier league rules we should get 10% 3270 0r a minimum of 3000.

It also states on the site that our end only holds 2717, so a few less than the 2800 reportedly available.

But Liverpool received 2885, so who knows?

Like all clubs they maximise the home support and give as little as they can to away fans.

None of this full top tier anymore, and bottom on request anymore.

Doing exactly what Huddersfield did, and suppose they're going to gain every advantage they can, and rightly so.

It’s lower tier only now. Has been since they won promotion in 2006. Was much better, view wise, upstairs.

I got 723 at about 7.30pm tonight so looks like sales are going well. I bought 11 tickets in all online but found it frustrating that I could only fill my basket with a maximum of four tickets at once meaning I had to do several different transactions.

When did they bring this stipulation in?

And it means there’s every chance that you won't all be sat together. I've absolutely no idea why it's a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction. Surely if you have people in your Friends and Family and they all have sufficient points you should be able to purchase tickets for them in 1 transaction.

As far as I'm aware nowhere on the ticketing section of the club website does it mention that there's a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction.

I’ve never had the issue before so tried to look it up but couldn’t find any info about it. Really annoying as there’s very little chance of those tickets being together.

Never had the issue before when buying in bulk but every time I put more than 4 tickets in my basket I got the message ‘maximum number of items exceeded in your basket’ (or words to that effect) in a yellow box.

I had the same issue! I`ve bought 6 plus tickets loads of times in the past. I`m going to contact the club in morning to see what crack is!
I was allowed to buy 4 then another 3, what`s the difference apart from them not being allocated together?

I tweeted the club well in advance of the tickets going on sale to see if this would happen again as that was the same scenario for the villa game. They responded that as long as all friends and family had the right number of points then you would be able to get the tickets at the same time. Surprisingly when I tried to get 11 yesterday I ended up having to split it over three transactions and yet again will probably not get seated together!! I did then tweet the club to see why this was the case last night and up until now I am still waiting for a response!!

I won't hold my breath!!

I asked if there had been an official statement regarding this and she said no, but would mention it to someone.
I gave her my 2 purchase reference numbers and she said that they will now be sent out as a 6.
She then said I could ring again for any future away purchases to amend them again.
I asked if I could email rather than faffing on the phone, so she replied that would be fine if I included the reference numbers.
I await the clubs official statement regarding touts!!

Not clear how being able to purchase say 10 tickets in 1 transaction is prone to ticket touting as opposed to purchasing 10 tickets through 3 transactions? Also, who would need to buy our tickets from touts when we hardly ever sell out?

I don't understand how splitting up a transaction into 2 lots of 4 (or whatever) rather than one group of 8 is helping stop touting. You already have to give clarets number details etc I don't know how this enhances any protection.

I thought the whole purpose of having friends and family was so when you wanted to buy tickets you could buy them together

Maybe people at the ticket office only have a maximum of three friends!

only really applies when we take a second allocation but that cannot happen this time. My advice stop fannying around and buy one if you really want one
