I know a chap who owns one! He's an ex pat who lives in France and he gave me a ride in it a couple of years ago down a whole load of very tight country lanes near his house!! Bloody scary!!! (Especially when it came to putting the petrol in and paying for it!!! :o )

Watched it last night
Very disappointed
Not a patch on Breaking Bad.
Very very slow moving
Going over old ground.
No Walt .... Disappointing.

It was a bit disappointing.

It's very much like Better Call Saul where it takes ages for anything to happen.

They didn't make a season of Better Call Saul this year, presumably because of this.

This story didn't really need telling. It didn't really "add" anything.

Did you watch it all ?
Walt was in it as a flashback, bearing in mind he was killed in the final episode he could hardly play a major part in this

Season 5 of better call Saul is out in 2020
Gilligan has been busy on other projects obviously

Not impressed. Lost interest in season 4 of Better Call Saul and this was equally slow and didn't really see the point as the story itself was pretty boring

Was a bit average. BB is the best series ever imo so you can never be too down on it...that said the majority of the BB characters are missing from it which, along with the storyline, means that it is in essence a 7 or 8 out of 10. A good number of the BB episodes were 10 out of 10....the IMDB ratings are pretty accurate on the whole and this film is not to the standard of the series which was out of this world...

BB was awful. Didn’t get past series 2.

Wasn’t that great tbh - good to see a few of the old BB characters though and worth watching.
I like Better call Saul - only started watching it a couple of months ago and just got a couple of episodes to go.
Best thing is to not compare it to BB and just enjoy it for itself and I think it’s really decent.

I though BB was decent, not a patch on the Sopranos or the Wire though. I tried Better Call Saul but couldn't get into it at all. Might give the film a go today.

It was just so slow. I nearly turned off after series 1 but gave series 2 a go. It just became to boring.

Without comparing it to BB, I enjoyed it. BB had countless episodes to character build and build story lines, whereas El Camino had 2 hours to cram in as much as they could. Aaron Paul (Jesse) is a very good actor.

Agree that BB wasn’t a patch on The Sopranos, but a very entertaining series nonetheless.

Watched El Camino last night. Thought it was totally pointless and lacked a storyline. Easy watch but very underwhelming.

I'm opposite to a couple on here. I tried The Sopranos, found it to slow. Loved Breaking Bad, El Camino was ok, nothing more.

Spot on. BB was one of very few programmes where each series (broadly speaking) got better and better. It is rated at 9.5/10 on IMDb for a very good reason...if you watched series 1 and stopped then more fool you.

The Sopranos was also very good...

The BB film lacks a storyline as others have said and it misses the great characters (not enough Walt or Mike and nothing of the rest of Walt’s family or the great villains of the series). The villains are very average in the film...

Again , Walt ,Mike dead along with all the other villains ,it’s not Dallas FFS

Well aware of that... the villains in the film are just not of the same level. There were other great characters in the series that could have been utilised that weren’t dead.

They were flashing back all the time in the film and so could have done it better. Alternatively, they could have used a better storyline with better new characters. When you consider how convincingly evil Gus, the twins, hector, the Mexican drug lord etc were the ones in this film were a bit meh...

It's a slow burner that's all, but it definitely gets better.

The Wire is my favourite series, but BB definitely comes a very close second.

I genuinely don't watch a lot of tv and when I do it tends to be sport, but I watched every single episode of BB and I definitely agree with others who have said it was not only gripping, but actually got better and better as the series stacked up. It's possibly the best thing (fiction) I've ever seen on TV. I also really, really enjoyed "The Haunting of Hill House" and thought this was ALMOST up there in the same bracket for acting, characters, storyline and brilliantly crafted drama.

El Camino was a bit confusing, it was almost like it was setting the story up for a further film

Watch it last night also thought it lost its self
Its like they run out of ideas and make it up as they go a long
Far to slow and switching back right through
Verdict V disappointed

Watched it last night. 7.5/10 I thought, which is a lot lower than BB.

Although it didn’t add anything it was good to see that Jesse was ok.

All it did was left me wanting more. However I hope they don’t give us more because like Better call Saul it won’t be a patch on BB

I'd put it third behind The Wire and The Sopranos. Succession may even push it down to fourth.

El Camino was very slow and unimaginative, I was expecting it to be much better.

Well, for me it was some of the best TV viewing ever. Wonderfully colourful characters portrayed by excellent actors. A ground breaking series. I'm still wondering whether to watch El Camino. Reading this thread hasn't helped make my mind up either.

You should watch it...just don’t expect it to be as good as the best twenty or so episodes of BB. There are a few episodes of BB that are weaker than the film but not too many...Fly from season 3 is one that springs to mind that is worse...just don’t expect Ozymandias or Dead Freight levels....

Because it isn't Breaking Bad. I enjoyed the series so much that I'm reluctant to have my images of the series tainted by something I see as a.kind.of 'follow up' with some of the characters.I enjoyed not taking part. I will watch it eventually out.of.curiosity,I suppose.

Dont worry its so dull that nowhere near enough happens to come close to tainting any good memories you may hold for BB
