At least it's sunny in Padiham today.
How are the training pitches holding up with all the rain we have had?

Good to see they fulfilled the fixture.
Re: Burnley v Bolton - U18 Latest
Surely we should be beating these lower level teams ?

They are not lower level. Bolton have a long standing Cat 1 & 2 academy.FCBurnley wrote:Surely we should be beating these lower level teams ?

Re: Burnley v Bolton - U18 Latest
How can Bolton still have a cat 1 or 2? Academy. Thought that required some serious financing and facilities
Re: Burnley v Bolton - U18 Latest
I suspect that was when Bolton had barely any senior playersClaretTony wrote:Five of today's team have played in League One this season

Surprised by the Cat1 & 2 academy. Where are they based as I thought I’d read they sold their Euxton base?

Re: Burnley v Bolton - U18 Latest
We wouldn't be playing them if they weren't Cat 2 - they were previously cat 1. Their base hasn't moved, it was the first team base that was sold. They are still at the Eddie Davies Academy at Lostock.Tricky Trevor wrote:Surprised by the Cat1 & 2 academy. Where are they based as I thought I’d read they sold their Euxton base?

Dropped the Cat 1 status in 2015 due to lack of funds
