Saddened by todays news but let’s respect him with some tunes.
He would bring up names that would get me onto youtube to check them out and I enjoyed so many.
He started a Boss thread t’other week and said he was a massive fan well me also.
So for Hampstead RIP, The Boss and No Surrender.

Mick would listen to Radio Luxembourg each night and make a list of every new record he heard so he could talk about it the next day at school.
He loved going to the Hop and Rose room listening to records all night.
Can't do links but Marvin Gaye's 'Heard it through the Grapevine' or Junior Walker's 'Roadrunner' would be ones I'd choose for him.

i remember last year Hampstead posted about enjoying the A Deeper Understanding album by The War on Drugs. This is a genius record and tracks like this deserve as much exposure as possible...here's to you Micky !

I recall Hampstead being a Jayhawks fan.

This is "Dying On The Vine" from their brilliant album, "Sound of Lies"

Posts 14 & 16 are exactly what he brought with his music threads. Bands I wouldn’t know and after enjoying them tracks I can sit down one night and put them on youtube.
