Grinder?

When I was a teen, that was the instrument used for crushing ( grinding ) cannabis into smaller pieces before putting into a joint.

I presume the millennials have given it a new meaning?

My son often uses the words like sweaty, salty and noob and they dont have the same meanings for me as they do him

The implement for crushing cannabis is still known as a grinder as far as I'm aware, but theres also a gay dating app which is called grinder, or so I'm told

Were they actually called mullets at the time. I never heard the term till some years after. I didn’t know the style had a name at the time.
