That's me, top left, in what I like to think is one of the most famous photographs in the history of Burnley Football Club.

If it was when Robinson scored then it was the 2-0 win under Heath that kept us up.

It is Tony 27th April 1996 .... I looked at the shirts in the picture and 2 of them have the 95/96 sleeves and collars ... and it was a 2-0 win .... like you say meaning we stayed in the 3rd tier ....

I'd forgotten we came so close in 1996.
I started going to games regularly the following year.

A picture speaks a thousand words.
The true Ecstasy of Goal, yes.
But also just how far we have come in the past decade. We were celebrating a raggy win against Runners-Up elect, Birmingham City. The two Burnley players in shot are John Spicer(goal scorer) and Steve Jones. That was about the calibre of player and result we could have expected 12 years ago.
How times change.

They are both correct but Lancaster, Mystify, jdrobbo & bfcdaz are also on the pic although Spicer is part blocking bfcdaz whose arm is part blocking jdrobbo.

Cheers for trying to help, but I've been messing around with the lovely, but very frustrating Ingmar pretty much all day and I'm still no nearer. I never see "for message boards", anywhere.

Sorry they’ve changed it. My bad.
If you have dragged your picture for uploading and it has appeared you need to click on the down arrow. See photo and then on “get share links”

As this is a BBCode you should be able to insert the link straight to your utc post
To get the photos I’ve done this on my ipad. I’m going to edit to insert a photo. If a Clarets football appears below it has worked.
Sorry to sound patronising but I don’t know your level.

Tbh i think there must be literally 1000s of pictures of me online, not because i have a great ego or something, however i lived for 2 and a half years on Old Town Square over here which is tourist central. Even just accounting for my occasional hungover foray to KFC i must be in the background of so many tourist pics.
I was genuinely curious if some automatic facial recognition would be introduced by facebook to see the results.
