He's only six months younger than Dwight McNeil!
Why can't Foden play?

We need Dwight and City can afford to use Foden more sparingly. Dwight also tends to look jaded later in games at the moment.
I think if Foden was in the full England squad and playing every week for city it would be too much for him at this moment in time (I may be wrong) and that's before you take into account the hype / pressure on him to be a world beater.

Why's it not a problem for Dwight McNeil to play every week?

Team pretty much as expected tonight. Although Trippier playing again is a bit of a surprise, not sure what TAA has done to upset Southgate.

Great news
Henderson yellow carded so can't play in the next game.
Oh and Rashford has just smashed one in to put us one up

Thought I'd switch over and have a look. I was surprised to find that Trifon Ivanov wan’t playing for them anymore. I then Googled him, only to find out that he died, three years ago, of a heart attack; he was only 50.

Yes concerning against such limited opponents,it won't matter tonight, but doesn't bode well for the tougher tests that'll await next summer.

Think Sterling was looking for a pen then.
He was bundled over though.

Bulgaria away used to be a tough fixture. (And Bulgaria home was bloody hard too) But not any more, it seems. They remind me of Scotland (reserves!) these days.

Can't say I've heard any racist chanting, but its been reported for the 2nd time now.
I did see some nobber in a black hoody and a face mask chucking a nazi salute earlier though. Sad times.

How do you stop a few mindless idiots in the crowd getting the game abandoned for racial abuse. You can see games getting abandoned left right and centre.

That’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen.
“Hey lads, either stop booing Sterling or leave the stadium”
“Okay, see you later....”
Off they trot

Yep, kind of reminded me of that Millwall match in the 90s when they all kicked off at 4-0 down and disappeared beneath the CFS, only to reappear when they got their 2nd of 3 goals.

The editors/pundits/etc need to make what happens on the field the main talking point.

Indeed. You can only see this continuing, especially as the nazis in the crowd will feel they have nothing to lose now by keeping on doing it.
An abandonment seems inevitable.
