Re: England tonight
It was ugly.
Makes you think it must have been orchestrated, in that they'd decided to leave at the 2nd stage.

Do you expect anything else from a bunch of bloody foreigners?bfcjg wrote:Disgusting thick idiots. Get their images and although there is nothing Uefa will do we should ban them entering any European country.
Re: England tonight
Need to ban the idiots for life some of whom are now on camera. The others are so proud of themselves and hard they are hiding in hoodies. The strange thing is they are quite dark skinned themselves so look even more stupid. They’d be kicked out of most white supremasist groups if that’s what they feel they are supporting.

Re: England tonight
In stead of playing in empty stadiums they should make every match an away tie.
The locals might step in then and stop it, thereweren’t that many off the idiots.
Although, as said, it did look orchestrated and if the politicos are behind it you could catch more trouble than it’s worth.

Didn’t see much of the first half, but Mr Winks isn’t doing very well so far in the second half.

Re: England tonight
I don't know it it's been mentioned yet but Trippier seems to be heavily involved in smoothing any potential incidents over. Any iffy looking fouls and he's in there, easing players away from each other and generally liaising with the ref and calming things down. I'm assuming this stems from his new career with Atletico.

Bulgaria have got to be the worst international side I've ever seen.

Re: England tonight
As terrible as Bulgaria are, and they are terrible, England have been fantastic tonight. Completely in control and able to go up a gear and cut through Bulgaria whenever they’ve felt like it. Played with a really good tempo.

Very pleasing to see England actually creating chances from open play and not determined to faff around with the ball at the back until we play ourselves into trouble.

I think the best thing we could do is to have free movement of people between our nation and Bulgaria (and others like it) it can only enrich our diverse and tolerant country and anyone who suggests other wise is quite clearly a little englander bigot.

We've had free movement for about fifteen years with Bulgaria, and their racist fans have chosen to stay at home, just like little Englander bigots have remained here.ClaretMoffitt wrote:I think the best thing we could do is to have free movement of people between our nation and Bulgaria (and others like it) it can only enrich our diverse and tolerant country and anyone who suggests other wise is quite clearly a little englander bigot.

Some good will have come out of last night if seeing those revolting, black-clad,brain-dead racist **** encourages more and more people to see how vile and anti-human it is to hold attitudes like that. It felt like an invasion of my home to even have them on my TV screen. Thought the England team behaved with dignity and Ian Wright, in particular, spoke well.

I wonder if the sight of all those black players getting abused who are as English as me and you will change the mindset of those who live here who share exactly the same views but hide it behind jokey memes and blatant lies on facebook and messageboards.
But on the positive side, the England fans there did exactly the right thing by backing the team very loudly indeed with a selection of funny songs and chants that rammed home to the opposition and the minority of fans there have that are racists that they are a much better football team than them and white supremacy doesn't make you very good at football

I just hope some Burnley fans are not thick enough to boo Gaëtan Bong when we play Brighton at home. After what happened last night it won't look good at all.

it's out of the way now, thankfully...time to move on...my only real concern now is that great positives will be read into us beating a team that should really be playing Padiham ...or Bacup Borough...and Southgate will remain as the new Messiah.

It was racist comments heard that got the game stopped briefly not booing.Spijed wrote:I just hope some Burnley fans are not thick enough to boo Gaëtan Bong when we play Brighton at home. After what happened last night it won't look good at all.
Their manager not hearing anything apart from English fans being abusive towards them and our head of the F.A not willing to criticise UEFA for the paltry fines they dish out, doesn't bode well for anything improving.

You must have watched a different game. He is what we have lacked, a player linking midfield, defence and the front three. Able to turn and move with the ball, intelligent passing and also hard as nails. Love to see him in our side.Darnhill Claret wrote:Didn’t see much of the first half, but Mr Winks isn’t doing very well so far in the second half.
