Elite Suito Trainer and Zwift

Post by evensteadiereddie » Wed Oct 16, 2019 6:19 am

I've just treated myself to an Elite Suito turbo cycle trainer for the winter and have been pretty impressed by it and the free trial of Zwift so far.
Have any cyclists on here experience of any alternatives to Zwift - other than cycling in real life ! - because my free trial ends soon and I'm wondering it it's worth the £12/13 a month subs.
Thanks.

I use zwift. I hammered it last winter then cancelled it when the weather picked up. IMO if you do 4/5 hours a month on it’s it’s well worth it. Similar price to gym membership.

I can’t comment on the alternatives because I have never used them but would be interested in hearing if anyone has used some of the free apps.

Funnily enough it does, sort of.
Thanks, Inchy. So far , so good although I've still to find out exactly what Zwift has to offer. The workouts seem the best bet to start.
All set up though and rarin' to go - fan, Echo Dot, decent - sized monitor, drinks shelf and so on.

Trainerroad is the other popular option. I have a feeling it's about the same price though.

There's also stuff like Golden Cheetah but that's more for analysis and review I think.
