Re: Wow
It would be interesting to hear their comments had the incident happened at the other end of the field with Vardy bearing down on Ben Mee.

Re: Wow
I hate all this “Wood does clip him” argument - turn it on it’s head and “Evans clipped Wood” - if Wood had fallen like he was shot would that have been a penalty? I didn’t think so...

I think the fact they are using motd as proof says it all. Just reverse what they say and you wont be far off.

Oh. Wow. Fans of a football team express bias towards their football team. Well **** me sideways. Thank **** we're not like them, eh? We'd never do that.

It doesn't matter that he fell like he was shot. What matters is who caused him to fall.

Charlie, you're making it too obvious, be more subtle.
Sundays always a quiet day, maybe leave it until Monday, it might be more fruitful for you.

Just read the Foxes forum match thread; every one of them admitted they got very, very lucky.claretnproud wrote:I think the fact they are using motd as proof says it all. Just reverse what they say and you wont be far off.

Why no mention of Gary “Mr Leicester” Lineker saying “I think we got away with one there.”????cricketfieldclarets wrote:https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/spor ... 447694.amp

Indeed, you’re right. Evans kicked Wood’s foot then fell over...Imploding Turtle wrote:It doesn't matter that he fell like he was shot. What matters is who caused him to fall.

Re: Wow
now you’re getting it... that sounds just as absurd as Evans being fouled... it was neither in all honesty IMO, but sometimes it goes our way and more often than not it goes against us.Imploding Turtle wrote:So it should be a penalty.

Yes. A goal to us 2-2, and then a penalty from which Wood completes his hat-trick.Imploding Turtle wrote:So it should be a penalty.
3-2 and 3 points for us.
I think that's what some supporters were expecting VAR to do for us.

Re: Wow
Don’t worry about what other folk think.
In my view it wasn’t a foul and the goal should Kent stood. I’m not interested what pundits or other fans think.

Re: Wow
It's clear enough. There was contact between two players - a foul every time. All they need do is rewrite the rules to formalise the arrangement by which, if two players touch, the first one to hit the floor gets a free kick.
What I want to know is where was VAR at the corners? 13 corners, and if that's the level of VAR involvement there should have been (estimated) 8 penalties and 5 free kicks to the defence.

Re: Wow
I'm getting a little sick of this 'there was contact so he is entitled to go down' rubbish every week. Football is a contact sport. If we are going to continue to allow players to lose the use of their legs if another player lightly touches their shoulder then we should re-write the rules and then people can decide if they want to watch a sport or theatre. A foul should be (and used to be) when a player actually causes a player to fall or lose control or does something that is actually dangerous, not lovingly glancing a players arm and the player falling down clutching his face in a sudden death throe.
It is NOT simulation or entitlement it is cheating.
