Yes but that still doesn't make it worse than Dancing in the Moonlight by Toploader, You're Beautiful by James Blunt or The Final Countdown by Europe.

And of course...

that version of Stan with Elton John singing the bits Dildo sang.

I actually don't mind 'The Final Countdown' too much. Excellent solo which Ozzy nicked for one of his (Mr Crowley?).

You can probably excuse them for the lyrics as I assume English is not their first language.

Love it !...My kids and I have long played the game of building the album "Now that's what I call the worst ever" based on compiling tracks they know I can't stand and the following are all total toe-curlers for me :

1. Seven years old ...Lukas Graham (yeah sure, sit your 12 year old down and tell him to "get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely" you whining berk, that's good parenting)
2. Man, I feel like a woman .....Shania Twain (pap,pap,par-par,pap pap)
3. 7 Days....Craig David (Oh you're soooo smooth Craig..please tell us more about your conquests, not)
4. Shotgun...George Ezra (Crazy dance moves too...no thanks)
5. Shut up and Dance..Walk the Moon (Actually just shut up)
6.Let Me Entertain You...Robbie Williams (No thanks)
7. Wasn't Expecting That...Jamie Lawson (neither was I you soppy git)
8. Stay With Me..Sam Smith (No-one should be that tortured and intense EVER,, never mind at 19 or whatever)
9. Human ...Rag n'Bone Man (I DO put the blame on you mate. Stop your bleating)

Anything by Bob Marley. How can anyone like his "music"? Not too far behind is Queen.
To be fair though, some of the current batch of "artistes" offerings are trying hard to oust my top two.

Boris Gardiner - I Wanna Wake Up with You
Swing Out Sister - Breakout
Matthew Wilder - Break My Stride

and that is just the tip of the iceberg!

I think an album thread would have been better in hindsight. Some horror shows on here. Never knew Sue Pollard released a song ( or I’ve subconsciously chosen to forget ). Not sure The Final Contdown should be on there really but it was played to death.

All this is of course very subjective and there is really no such thing as a bad song if someone likes it but I am astounded to find that no-one has mentioned the bloody awful Umbrella by Rhianna (or indeed anything at all by Rhianna). If she used to go around the house singing it then I'm not surprised Chris Brown used to give her a slap, whilst probably shouting 'stop singing that bloody song FFS'. Umbrella is closely followed by that other abortion that I think was called Work.

Whatever track 2 is on the latest Liam Gallagher album. I thought I'd give the album a go, but couldn't make it past this point. It reminds me of when The Fast Show did an Oasis parody, except less well-done.

Teenage Kicks - the one that John Peel (among many) thought was the best single ever released? Agree with Beyonce though (and I mean Beyonce - in general).

Don't think you'll find many agreeing with you about Halleujah. Everything about the song is pretty much perfect from the lyrics to the melody and even the chord progressions. Oft quoted as the best song ever written by critics. Strangely of all the versions I've heard (other than the over produced 'epic' by that X-factor winner) the worst is actually Cohen's himself. Jeff Buckley's is my favourite.

Oddly no-one to the best of my knowledge (including Cohen) has ever recorded the full song as it contains several verses and most people just pick the ones they like most.
