Leyton Orient have issued the following statement: "The Leasing.com Trophy match against Brighton & Hove Albion U21’s will now take place on Wednesday, November 6 with a 19:45 kick-off. The game, which was originally set for Tuesday, November 5, has been rescheduled following the advice of safety groups, including the police. Original tickets will be valid. There will be a period of seven days for refunds to be claimed if supporters cannot make the rearranged game."
Now why have the police and safety groups got involved? The answer is Ajax fans. Lots of them have booked travel for their Champions League game at Chelsea but they've now been banned from attending because of crowd problems at a previous fixture. A lot of speculation that they were all going to attend the Leyton Orient game so it's been pushed back to stop them.
