No. Course I don’t. My point about Coleman was hugely ironic and was having a go at the whole VAR nonsense.joey13 wrote:VAR is a system
Anyway do you still think the Coleman decision was correct ?

Plenty of games in the season for Southampton to change manager and turn this around but I just hope this manager stays a while longer please thank you.

Well they certainly need to tighten up at the back in this match else they’ll struggle to get a point.CFS wrote:Plenty of games in the season for Southampton to change manager and turn this around but I just hope this manager stays a while longer please thank you.

Makes me wonder what exactly Southampton spent all their transfer revenue on. Absolutely incredible financial mismanagement, they could’ve built a squad better at least as good Leicester’s yet they’re lightyears away.

Good job we are not playing Leicester any time soon as they absolutely murder us!

Think I posted after we beat Southampton that I'd be worried if I was a saints fan with that defence.

Southampton's next two fixtures, both Man City away. One in the Carabao Cup and then the league.

Southampton were 17th before kick off. They've dropped into the bottom 3 due to GD.

Been to a gig in Winchester, just waiting for the train coming from Southampton to Basingstoke/London. Might be a few sad faces on the train. Might just play dumb and ask somebody with a red scarf how they got on.

Re: Southampton vs Leicester
Leicester unearth players season after season and make some astronomical profits allowing them to move forward, we where a head of them in the championship and that remarkable fight back with the get out of jail card it end condeming us with to much to do.
then us and them winning our leagues respectably with that next season playing in the champions league really kicked them on and all the building and very good recruitment has payed dividends.
we had a good chance to get some quality when we got our Europe placing and should have push our boundaries a bit more Heart Gibson and Vydra over a year on and its half a season from all three in over a year and i though we would have pushed on
that's the difference with been an ambitious club

And yet they've only beat Spurs out of the usual top 6.

The gulf between Leicester and Burnley was summed up when the commentator tonight remarked that Tielemans was a "steal" at £40 millions.
Sadly, without substantial outside investment such signings are way beyond our reach.

I’ve seen people rank managers, and I’ve seen Hassenhuttel in over Dyche on more than one occasion. Makes you think.
Re: Southampton vs Leicester
Yep that and having a budget miles bigger than ours and a billionaire owner prepared to subsidise them - if only we were “ambitious” enough to get ourselves a billionaire owner...maybe we should advertise for one on Gumtree or Burnley Buy & Sell....I’m sure there are a queue of them waiting in the wingsLongside4evr wrote:Leicester unearth players season after season and make some astronomical profits allowing them to move forward, we where a head of them in the championship and that remarkable fight back with the get out of jail card it end condeming us with to much to do.
