There are usually around 100 names on the list each year so for many it is still the occasion they are remembered. It would be such a shame if it were deemed unnecessary but it is heading that way.

Would it be heartless to say if you’ve had a minutes applause then you can’t be on the list? (with the exception of former players/staff etc)
