Last time I went they had dug up the big car park in the centre, ready to tarmac it when it's dry enough. So they put no parking signs just about everywhere else.

I've been to Barley today and can confirm it was full. The carpark is closed and there were cars parked as far as the eye could see in every direction. We went by bus, (route 66) and it really struggled to get through.

i'd go there just for the parking alone....get there early..flask of coffee in the car...eat my sandwiches then climb in the back for a snooze..let the dog out for a run and a dump..he doesnt need me....finds his own way back to car..usually leave around 6pm...nothing not to like in Barley.
