Bardsley and Taylor back in
After recent performances and number of goals conceded. Definitely need to add a bit more grit to the team. Last seasons best performances came with Bardsley in the side.
Pieters is obviously doing nothing wrong but with our lack of wide options could still be a place for Taylor.
I believe Dyche is considering playing Taylor left mid and would it be worth similar pushing Lowton to the right flank? Easily our best crosser but has been weak at the back.
Would then give us options from the bench, make us more solid and bring Taylor back in.
McNeil hasn’t done much wrong. But does look leggy after fifty minutes. So could be good early in his development too.

Well I suppose we could always play McNeil in his more preferred central areaRVclaret wrote:Hahahahaha

I wasn't aware that he shared his thoughts with you, but did he suggest why Taylor might be preferred in that position ahead of both McNeil & Brady?cricketfieldclarets wrote:I believe Dyche is considering playing Taylor left mid

I was speaking to him the other day in Earby.ClaretTony wrote:I wasn't aware that he shared his thoughts with you, but did he suggest why Taylor might be preferred in that position ahead of both McNeil & Brady?
He said he was considering shoring things up while giving us more balance.

I was at Earby too. SD was full of praise for the incredible fitness shown by Pieters. He also praised Taylor but certainly gave the impression that Pieters was first choice for the moment.

Didn't think you'd catch any with that one cricketfieldclarets.

Rightly so. That’s why he told me he was considering playing him midfield.Im_not_Robbie_Blake wrote:I was at Earby too. SD was full of praise for the incredible fitness shown by Pieters. He also praised Taylor but certainly gave the impression that Pieters was first choice for the moment.

Re: Bardsley and Taylor back in
Would like to see both of them back in the team even just for a couple of games, they might just freshen things up a bit, Taylor is more of an attacking full back, but Pieters is a better defensive player, he hasn't done anything wrong so far this season and almost scored against Chelsea, but Taylors powerful runs could trouble most opposing defenders, i would deffo bring Bardsley back in, he had some really good games last season and we all know how hard a tackler he is, Lowton isn't strong enough in the tackle but i still think he is a good player, he just seems to be having a tough time at the moment.

The opposition don't like playing against Bardsley he's that intimidating they've only time to sh!t themselves! No Diving required.

I'd definitely consider Bardsley at Sheff Utd,that will be a physical battle, and if we're not up for the fight they'll run over us.
Pieters started the season strongly, but he's run out of steam in the recent games,a rest might serve him well before the busy festive schedule.

There could be an argument that bringing Taylor on off the bench for the last 30 if we need a goal would be a good ploy.
I'd say that both full backs are the closest to being replaced at the moment. Especially Lowton
