Re: Keith Vaz
I think this is the "washing machine salesman" issue from 3 years ago just coming to a conclusion.
He's been dodging the repercussions of this for a long time on "health grounds" but healthy enough to continue being an MP and being paid as such. He featured quite a bit in the "expenses scandal" reports way back as well.
The way these things go with MPs-he'll probably be let off with a half-arsed apology.

Claimed the two guys were painters and decorators there to give a quote. More like plasterers looking at the state of his radio...

Should hav taken out an injuction, Johnson - style.
Or claimed to be suffering from mental illness as our very own sex-texter MP, Andrew Griffiths, tried.

Re: Keith Vaz
Vaz IS claiming to be 'receiving treatment for a serious mental health condition'.

Re: Keith Vaz
Just a quaint, little s&m club in Leicester, which I was told about by some Leicester supporting friends of mine, quite often frequented by the local personalities, allegedly. I don't know if it's still a going concern.

Re: Keith Vaz
Arguably one of the most dodgy Mp’s to have ever set foot in the house , Private eye didn’t nickname him “Vaseline “ and “ slippery “ for nothing . He was ultra well connected and prospered in the Blair “ see no evil hear no evil “ days . Some of his antics truly beggar belief . Vaseline was a go to guy for anything from passports, large brown envelopes, rent boys , even “ royal tinged” murder investigations. All out their in the public record .As for his “ clubbing days” oooohhh matron
I wish the Sun or suchlike would run an old story involving a certain erm “ Tonee Standish” involving whips chains , 3 handsome young men and a very helpful neighbour riding to the rescue with a hacksaw .

Re: Keith Vaz
If a Sunday national newspaper sets up a politician in a sting involving rent boys and cocaine you can have good confidence that they know (or at least suspect) that rent boys and cocaine are the norm for the said politician.

Re: Keith Vaz
This specimen sums up all that's wrong with modern politics, how he's survived all the previous scandals the mind boggles.
He might not survive this one though:
If MPs vote to approve the committee's recommendation, Mr Vaz would be subject to a recall petition which could trigger a by-election if supported by 10% of his constituents.
What's the odds he's a member of the HOL in 6 months,Peter Mandelson springs to mind as another sleazeball and it didn't stop him receiving a peerage.
And yes i'm well aware that the Conservatives and others are equally dubious in their morals, hence why parliamentary trust is at an all time low.
Now if he's genuinely suffering with serious mental health issues fair enough, and he should certainly get the help he needs, but his relationship with the truth is questionable,so i'd take these reports with a big pinch of salt.
Either way it's unfair on the constituents of Leicester East as their concerns aren't being adequately represented.

I see the poor lamb has been rushed to hospital after the ruling , in the words of Basil Fawlty “ let’s hope it’s nothing trivial “
