Expensive gloat.

Post by fatboy47 » Mon Oct 28, 2019 7:58 pm

I'd been thinking about a little trip to Ewood for their next home game....nothing serious..just a rare chance to spend a couple of hours smirking at what is now not much more than the festering carcass of a once great club.I know its grim...but It's how I roll.
Armed with a strong nose peg to stem the stench of death and decay, it could have been fun trying to look like I cared.

Anyway...a quick price check suggests I'd need to part with £43 (forty three) if I present myself at the Blackburn End on the day.

Thats £43 for 115 minutes humouring the most desperate and deranged of horse-humping nob jockeys that Shadsworh has to offer.

Has Lee Hoos turned up at Ewood??....anyway I've had a think and Im giving it a miss. Instead I'm sending a tenner to the donkey sanctuary near Sidmouth

While perhaps a little more expensive, I think a package tour to Pripyat represents better value for money if desolation is what you're looking for.

I thought it was meant to be cheaper at non (premier) league clubs...?

Way too much money to spend on a frivolous jaunt to the nether regions of the football league.

Not worth it.

Must be the equivalent of an Executive Box for 6, plus free stabling at that price?

Being a Bradfordian, I dislike (absolutely bloody despise) Bradford City more than I ever will Rovers.

I’d only step inside Valley Parade if Burnley were playing there and wouldn’t dream of contributing a penny towards them otherwise.
