That was good, but the manager who had me laughing loudest and longest was Steve Kean.

I'm on about his comment which took him off air. "Lazy ni**er" I think it was.

A rather strange way to admitting it went over your head. By editing an earlier post saying it didn't go over your head, when it clearly did. But I love you Tim. Life would be boring without people like you.

Big Ron Atkinson was always one for a quip ( non including his “ lazy fecking n**** a” career wrecking one!)

I remember Gordon Strachan once being asked for a quick word by a reporter whilst he was dirty Leeds manager. He walked past and said Velocity which made me giggle

I saw Brian Clough in a fishing tackle shop at Trent Bridge. He was buying maggots for his Koi Carp.
He didn't say anything funny.

Stan Ternent

Some of his post match quips and interviews were legendary.

"Blind man on a galloping horse"
"Magic Lantern"
"Throw one in"
"Gnohere had his head up his arse"
Robbie Blake's diving boots

And many more classics I'm sure I've forgotten over the years :)
