Having provided me with that entertainment I think they should both be allowed to go through. Someone tell Chelsea & Man U that they are both out.

Arsenal must be gutted.

Just switched back over to Chelsea Man Utd, heard Gary Neville say 'Is everybody back with us? Is the other game finished now?'

Liverpool home games on Sky often seem to be entertaining.

The league cup often throws up good games. Lots of teams who aren't that bothered if they progress or get knocked out so just play carefree, attacking football and throw men forward.

Tonights game of Liverpool v Arsenal reminded me of exciting games prior to the introduction of VAR goals goals goals. No stoppages, free flowing football exciting for said team fans and the neutrals alike. 10 goals in 90 mins and a following 9 in pens wow.
Makes you feel like loving football again

Reminded me of another League Cup game involving Arsenal.
Was against Reading, can't remember the exact score but remember lots of goals at the Madejski stadium.

Sure it went to extra time (as that still existed back then :D) with Arsenal coming through.

Forget about defensive frailties, the Liverpool v Arsenal was a truly fantastic watch. Some fantastic open play and brilliant goals. Some good young lads on show for both sides that can only be good for the future. However, how many of them will play regularly for their respective teams? Think it will be a limited few.
