Yasmin Alibi Brown
Or however you spell it.
On telly again - thought she was leaving the country if Boris got in?

Parliament ensured the nation died in a ditch last week.

If Boris is found dead in a ditch after what Yasmin said I hope she's got a good alibi.
Re: Yasmin Alibi Brown
Parliament didn't become leader of the Tory Party by making a promise it couldn't keep. Johnson will say anything to win. He can't be trusted, and he's a disgrace to the country.gawthorpe_view wrote:Parliament ensured the nation died in a ditch last week.

All politicians are a disgrace to this country, no matter what your political persuasions are.

Not true Barry...my former MP was bloody marvellous..great for her constituency and always made herself available to the constituents...that's why she was murdered.Let's not tar everybody with the same brush eh ?

Re: Yasmin Alibi Brown
I wouldn't say all, there is a handful who take their duties seriously and attempt to improve their communities, the problem is none of them are in the cabinet or shadow cabinet, both of which have to be the worst in living memory, that's why it's a hobson's choice at election time, especially under FPTP when most of the seats are a straight Con-Lab fight, millions of voters will hold their nose in December and vote for what they perceive as the least worst option.Barry_Chuckle wrote:All politicians are a disgrace to this country, no matter what your political persuasions are.
Until there is genuine political reform in Westminster we'll be stuck in a perpetual 2 party system i'm afraid,it's bizarre that the HOC is the only elected body in the UK that doesn't have some form of PR,the London Assembly/Mayor,Scottish Parliament,Welsh Assembly,NI Assembly,European Parliament and even regionally elected mayors and some councils have varying degrees of PR,clearly the status quo favours the big 2 massively so unless there is another coalition government in the near future, electoral reform won't be on the table.
