Devoid of energy? No reason to be like that. Swap energy for ideas, and you might be correct,.

From what I've seen on stream, Taylor deserves at least that. That's about it though, although my stream has been down for 90%.

I blame Eddie Howe, all this passing across the back four and slow build up.

And Gibson wasn't a waste anyway, unless you knew that neither Mee or Tarks were going to avoid any lengthy injuries. As nobody did know that, he wasn't a waste, he's been a good backup.

No he's been a big miss, just hitting form as well after a slow start, whereas Barnes started like a house on fire, and now he's gone off the boil.

We look a different side with Wood and Barnes up top, they are a nuisance for defenders in a way Jay isn't.

And Rovers level. If they win, I'll be gutted for 2 reasons as I was extremely tempted for an accumulator this morning for 4 results:

England lose
We lose
Leeds win
Rovers win

That first half was as bad as any I can remember. Same as last week. Both games we have been in such a terrible position at half time that there has been no way back. Dyche needs to get them up for that first half next week.

The last 2 1st halves have been dire, there has to be a reaction next week,we're at home and need a result, the bottom 3 is far too close for my liking,a""es have to be kicked i'm afraid, there's no disgrace in losing, but to lose in the manner we have today is unacceptable.

I'm not sure what we can do to stop the losing streak. Taylor comes in - that has to be mandatory. Fingers crossed that Wood can come back in - if he can't, start Vydra he can't do any bloody worse. And I'd want Hendrick in CM if Brady can start.

That might help.

I don’t mind Rodriguez for £5-10m but I do hope some people understand why I was so vehemently against spending up to £20m on him in 2018. He’s a squad player at the very best I’m afraid. Not a patch on Chris Wood.

Lowton, Pieters, Cork, Hendrick and the mighty Jay Rod, who should never have been signed, not good enough. But when the manager picks the same team, same tactics, same formation and same boring knock it long into the channel or if that option isn't on the just launch it. The manager HAS to change and A pick his best 11 or B change tactics. A Saturday on the turf is becoming very boring

Seans A game is fine when he has his A game players available. But when some of those key players are missing, e.g Wood, then playing the same way but with different players isn't working

Closing the opposition down and stopping gifting goals would be a start, for some reason we looked off the pace today, which is strange as everyone knew the type of game Sheff Utd would employ, and yet we weren't prepared for their tactics.

Taylor deffo has to start,Wood returning would be a big lift, ideally Hendrick would come into CM,if Wood's not fit we could play 4-5-1 but that formation doesn't suit our squad,Vydra starting would be a surprise but we need creativity from somewhere.

The whole performance was flat today which isn't Dyche like and is worrying,TBF usually when we'''ve had to pull a result out of a hat in recent seasons we've come up with the goods, let's hope this is a catalyst for an upturn in fortunes, the league is so tight that a win next week could see us back in the top half of the table,as tough as today was this isn't the time to press the panic button.

After five minutes of that game you could tell we were going to get hammered, the obvious lack of interest by the team today was frightening.

That's the worry,we'll get lessons from the top sides in this league, that's just reality,City stuffing Watford 8-0,and Leicester hammering 9 past Saints, shows we're not the only ones that'll happen too over the course of the season, but i really expected today to be a tight battle, and if there was to be a winner a goal either way, what i didn't anticipate was for us to be blown away by HT,and barely troubling their keeper.

Yes we have important players missing but our 1st choice central defence pairing played,as did our CM duo although you'd have struggled to note them, clearly Sheffield realised our full backs were the weak link and exploited this to the fullest.

Hopefully this is just a bad day at the office, and once first teamers return we'll get back to our usual tough to beat style,Tarks has to learn when to play and when to defend, the latter has to be the priority for now, clean sheets are what's required to get the ship back on an even keel.

When teams like Sheffield United,a newly promoted club have sussed out your weakest links and expose them for what they are, have after all this time Dyche and his tactics been sussed by everyone,we never mix it up,a weakness everyone has sussed,we made them look like world beaters today in that first half

I agree. SD has done very well for us, but he very rarely shows that he can react to what the other manager is doing. The best managers suss out that the opposing manager has sussed you out, or thinks he has, and so you throw a cog in the works with changing something. He doesn't seem to be able to do that. Very few times do you see SD bamboozle the opposing manager by switching something. It's because the opposing manager just hasn't yet worked out what our Plan A is.

They are not exactly mugs and have surprised pretty much everyone this season. Mixing it up is one thing but not getting used to an opponent with an unusual set up and making basic errors is why we lost today.

It's a good way of playing when we have the right players, because it's direct. The problems appear when we have the likes of JR instead of Wood. That's a MASSIVE difference with the way we play.

It comes down to a very poor scouting team I think. We overpay because of that.
