This has certainly carried on for far too long and I was thinking earlier whether we should have fined him wages, if that was possible with the loan contract. But then it might do us a favour by just sticking by him, accepting he's a pillock, putting an arm around him and doing what SD did with Barton and let him respect SD and stick with us. It says he's not good enough for Chelsea. We have done well to still be in the PL, but we need to address some issues before too long, and spending in excess of £10m on players not good enough to get a game is one of these issues.
7 years of Sean Dyche now and we have developed just one PL player.
