I am. Last season it was obvious Hart was an issue, it was relatively easy to fix. This season without a lot of money spending, change in tactics and a plan B we are in trouble.

Norwich will go down ,with Southampton I think, who fills the third spot is going to be anyone's guess,we are certainly going to be in and around the bottom three given our last two efforts.

The difference between us with Wood and without seems to be fecking huge.

I think improving the midfield, helps the defence. Well us improving our attack can improve our defence.

Not worried at all
It is just one defeat and horrible performance
Last week it was Chelsea who are in top 4 on a brilliant run
The week before was at Leicester who have hardly lost a game this season in top 3 and lost on s disputed VAR Decision at the end
Some posters are soon being negative after one very poor performance

Do we have the oldest squad in the PL?
That would be a worry.

No we''ll be ok,last season we were in a much worse state, and there's 3/4 teams at least we'll finish above.

We will need to freshen the squad next summer though, father time is catching up with several stalwarts.

I'd like to see a comparison between our workrate now against that in our first season back up. I'm pretty sure it's dropped

We were abysmal. Worse than last match. Don’t believe we will stay up easily cos we won’t. Sheffield United hammered us fgs.

Dyche a lot to answer for today imo

How worried were you three weeks ago, just out of interest?

Our main problem is our full backs who aren't good enough, I expect Sean knows this and will take the appropriate action in his own time. Dyche time over the years has tested my patience, although he has always proved me wrong

We have the same problem has last season playing week in and week Lowton. Bringing back Bardsley would be a big improvement

Today was the worse performance I can remember for 15 years. Worried? aye I am, but West Ham are the team you would want at home to break this voodoo.

Not overly worried yet, but the trend of poor defensive showings is becoming alarming.

Yes. I think our formation has been found out. Pulisic showed it last week. Rigid, narrow, 4 4 2.

When we're getting outfought it's very worrying, because we certainly aren't going to out football anyone.

That's because you don't remember previous performances, not because there haven't been any.

Am I more worried than last year? Well, it's true that we have lost to five of the top 6 in the league, which is cause for worry. You could turn it round to say that we are unbeaten in 6 games against the other 13, but that would be entirely out of the spirit of the board tonight. Far easier to say that the last 7 years have been a blip and today is our true form.

Did you go today Dave?
We were awful. Offered absolutely nothing up front, even less in midfield and all over the place at the back, in short, we looked like the team that had just come up.

The way we surrendered against Chelsea last week (after the second) and again this week against basically a Championship side that we made to look like world beaters does worry me.

Yet if we had have won we would be 8th. We lost at Leicester, now 4th, unlucky. Lost to Chelsea, now 3rd, expectedly. Put in a bad shift at Sheffield Utd, can happen. Now we’re going down. So really based on one result. :|

Worst performance in 15 years?

Man City at TM during our first PL season when Kev McDonald went off to the pub at half time..

It's been a while since Hart was singled out.

Is the centre of midfield still the same? Perhaps the lack of a centre midfield could be the problem that needs addressing?

When was the last time Cork had a good game? 2017? Best be careful, Cork is a fans favourite.

Last couple of games notwithstanding, this season is nowhere near as worrying as last season. We're on trend for 40+ points (averaging 1.8 points from our (5) home games, 0.5 points from our (6) away- continuing that would give us 44 points in the season).
In the next 3 games, we'll level up on H/A with 2 home games (WHU & Palace) and a decent away prospect at Watford. If we don't get 4/5/6 points from those, it may be worth having a worry.
