Unallocated seating. First come first served.Leisure wrote:If everyone had to visit the Ticket Office to purchase tickets it could be possible to offer seats at the front for fans who want/need to sit. However, as the majority of tickets are probably sold online I'm not sure just how the system could facilitate this. Any suggestions? Also, whilst I'm aware of some games where the away fans are given the online facility to pick their seats from the home club's away section seating plan, I'm not aware of any club which offers fans the option of guaranteed sitting seats. Does anyone know of any? It's all well and good highlighting the standing/seating issue but probably easier said than done to resolve.

No but I think hes suggesting its worse to call a normal bloke a paedo than a black man a black man. Which of course it isDevils_Advocate wrote:So if you have a pedophile and a black man stood next to each other you think it is far worse for people to abuse the pedo for being a pedo then it is to abuse a black man for being black?

No thats completely different. Calling someone a pedo who isnt one is name calling albeit vile name calling. Abusing someone for who they actually are because of their skin colour is not name calling but is racism which is far worse.cricketfieldclarets wrote:No but I think hes suggesting its worse to call a normal bloke a pedo than a black man a black man. Imagine there was a disabled lad in a wheelchair sat at the front and a group of Burnley fans abused him all game because of his disability whilst another grouped called Henderson a pedo. Would you honestly be more upset at the fans calling Henderson a pedo than you would the fans abusing a disabled lad for who he actually is
It is far worse to be a pedo than it is to be disabled or a black man because there is nothing wrong with being either disabled or black and that is the difference between name calling and real bigotry and prejudice
If you cant understand the difference then be thankful you have never had to grow up as part of a group who faces that kind of prejudice for just being different

I suppose context is relevant.
All are disgusting. Two wrongs and all that.

James - The slight flaw in that idea is if then people who want to stand go to the front then we're back to square one!cricketfieldclarets wrote:Unallocated seating. First come first served.

Yes, people who want to sit could do but it's not really a foolproof idea!cricketfieldclarets wrote:Get there earlier.
