Nakhi
Birmingham Mail reporting Brum will be in for Nakhi in January. The weekend papers were saying Clarets looking to cash in but QPR are out. Never said why. Have they an embargo or are they skint?

Re: Nakhi
Skint ,but our deal to loan him didnt contain an option to buy.
We really should have looked to get our £5m back but finding mugs has proved an issue
We managed to offload non scoring Juke to Brum so heres hoping we can get some money back

Re: Nakhi
Let's see what division we're in first. If we go down, he could be a very important player.

Newcastle believed to be in for Jarrod Bowen in January. Wonder if
Steve Bruce has an advantage with having Managed him at Hull??

Re: Nakhi
Not a bad shout Nakhi's out of contract next summer,so if we can use him as a makeweight to trim a few million from Bowen's transfer fee it should be considered, the advantage for him is he'll get a decent contract and some security,at that level he's shown he can be an asset.jrgbfc wrote:Offer him or Vydra to Hull as part of a deal for Jarod Bowen.
Vydra's contracted until 2022 so his value should still be relatively high,i'd say £15m for the pair isn't unreasonable in the present market.
Now what would Hull be asking for Jarrod Bowen,i'd say £25m is a ballpark figure, with potential add-on's.
I'm sure we could stretch to £10m plus Wells and Vydra, whether Hull will consider selling in January given they're in the play-off mix is another
And the really important point is will Bowen be interested in a move to Burnley, especially if we're around the bottom 3 mid-season.

Re: Nakhi
Are people seriously thinking we will get any money for Wells?
No chance, we would be happy releasing hom and getting shut of the wages. Also as a player he knows he can just sit it out until he is a free agent and boost his wages without a transfer fee

Re: Nakhi
How when he is out of contract at the end of the season? He turned down a move to QPR in the summer because they only offered him 2 years. He wants 3 or more and will probably get it as a free agent and a season scoring goals in the Championship. There eont be a shortage of takers for him on a free transfer and he will relish the bidding war which will increase his wagesFactualFrank wrote:We will get money for him. Every club wants a goalscorer in the January transfer window.Cleveleys_claret wrote:Are people seriously thinking we will get any money for Wells?

We will get our 6m fee back.
Re: Nakhi
I doubt that if he's OOC in June. Be lucky if we even get a 7 figure sum IMO.Quickenthetempo wrote:Every club wants a goalscorer in the January transfer window.

We only got offered around 2.5m in the summer if the reports are to be believed.

Apparently we have a years option, so not strictly out of contract.MACCA wrote:I doubt that if he's OOC in June. Be lucky if we even get a 7 figure sum IMO.

Re: Nakhi
Shame he’s out of contract this summer.
He’s done very well for QPR and would be worth at least what we’d paid for him you’d think.

10 to 15m for a championship goalscorer.
6 will be a bargain.

I'd snap their hands off, but very much doubt it'll happen TBH.Quickenthetempo wrote:Desperate clubs in January when the season isn't going to plan.

It was Nixon's story linking him with Birmingham, he said we have a years option.mdd2 wrote:According to this message board both Wells and Jeff are OOC this coming summer, there is no + after the year 2020
