lautaro martinez

Post by cricketfieldclarets » Tue Nov 05, 2019 8:25 pm

Is there a better prospect in europe right now than this kid?

Inter definitely not missing Icardi, especially with Lukaku alomgside him.

Wont be long until City and co come sniffing for him. Scored again away at dortmund tonight. Did so at the nou camp last time out.

Was easier for him to pass!

And had a real quality input in an equally good second goal!

If so I might tip Nelson off, even they might be able to afford him!

Was watching his career at Racing Club in Argentina. Amazing young player who apparently suffered from chronic home sickness (he wasn’t from Buenos Aries). He nearly went back to his hometown more than once. His score rate at Racing was fantastic.

Been plenty of talented players like that Jesus Navas is another.

Don't watch South American footy as much as Id like. Time zones etc. But watch lots of inter being a closet fan (going over again in January for the Atalanta game). Has been excellent for them!

Strangely I am also an Inter fan - since I was a kid. About the same time I started my interest in Racing Club (who were a massive club then). I’d love to go to a game at Racing - their ground (nicknamed the cylinder) is actually round but they still manage to get an amazing atmosphere despite many fans being miles from the pitch.

Would love to go any ground outthere. But especially san lorenzo and boca.

Liked inter as a kid. One of the first foreign shirts I got. And loved Ronaldo, Zamorano, Stankovic and obviously taribo west

San Lorenzo are one of the 'big five' and are considered a 'working class' club (it's a very dodgy part of Buenos Aries apparently). Have a look at their ground - it's really odd in a traditional kind of way. It's just a pitch with four seemingly random stands around it and how they get an atmosphere (but they do) is beyond me. There is no cover to speak of and the four corners are all massively open. Must be awful when it p!sses down.
