The team he scored against in goal number 3 haven’t been in the Premier League for a long time nowNottsClaret wrote:His top 3 all against Premier League sides, class act.

Great player. Funnily enough, my son and I were talking to him last night. Really nice bloke, clear to see he still remembers his times at Burnley fondly.

Been looking to find that December 2004 one for years never thought I’d see it again. But all three are incredible.martin_p wrote:https://youtu.be/voV3cDkNqRs

The united goal is something special. As the commentary says. And the commentary is too. But personal favourite I think is that Blackburn one. That’s the moment I thought we had done it.

Incredible he didn't have his full career in the Premier League, he was certainly good enough.
Re: Top 10 Robbie Blake goals
Watching that makes you realise just how workmanlike we are under Dyche.

Loved Robbie, still do
Re: Top 10 Robbie Blake goals
Great link
What a player
I remember watching him for Bradford and wishing he played for Burnley.....and he did !
He loved Burnley and we loved him (except some nutter from Rawtenstall who we used to sit next to in the Lower Jimmy Mac who spent every week slagging him off)

One of a Kind. The last BFC player to have me on the edge of my seat when he had the ball.

Did you whine as much in them days ? Can't believe you weren't sulking most the time while being mid table in the championship. Then again we didn't have streaming back then so you probably didn't have to endure many games in those days.

Re: Top 10 Robbie Blake goals
My joint favourite ever player, alongside Glen Little.
I even named my bar in my garden after him (which got his seal of approval on Twitter ).

Re: Top 10 Robbie Blake goals
Definitely my favourite edging ahead of Glen and Leighton James.
Our dog is named after him, 'Blakey', and then my son played his first senior games under him this season for Bognor. He never mentioned to him he was a Burnley fan or that his dog was named after him! Said he was a top bloke, very supportive and at the end of his brief loan rang him to thank him and tell him he'd be a success.
Doing really good things down at Bognor and they've now won 6 of the last 7.
