Re: Good read
Hard to know where to start with the factual innacuracies and distortions in that article, but there we go, that's the nature of internet journalism.

I just have, I admit I didn't get much past half way. I take it the "good read" part is near the end of the dross written ?
Comes across as one of those podcast type pieces buy someone desperate to be noticed

Take those specs off just for 5 mins
Re: Good read
Pathetic article - a lot of things that just are not factually true and the type of “shock-jock” thing that idiots like Adrian Durham would start his show with just to get people ringing in to argue with him.
No surprise that the OP liked it - he spends his life talking similar boll-ocks

Re: Good read
nah, you're wrong
Re: Good read
Total and utter garbage
Re: Good read
Not a nice read at all, but can't argue with some if the points, some are the same points many of our own fans make.
Got to remember, how sick of the repetitive interviews would you be if it was Steve Bruce doing it for Newcastle?
The opinion on what is said would be polar opposite.
Mr Dyche is very good with words, and there isnt a manager in the country that doesn't, tell fibs, deflect the blame, cry in decisions, protect their players etc.

I cant argue with anything that has been written and its about time some people on here pulled their head from out of the sand and also take their claret specs off for 5 mins.

If I take them off will I end up with vision like yours ? Perhaps I am better leaving them on and not ending up as daft as you

So you think that the below is correct ?BOYSIE31 wrote:I cant argue with anything that has been written and its about time some people on here pulled their head from out of the sand and also take their claret specs off for 5 mins.
SD is the only manager who complains about officials decisions ?
“Constantly trying to distract from their own man made disasters“ - what utter utter boll-ocks....our 4th consecutive year in the Premier League and you think an article like that is a “good read” ?
“Only one manager has publicly questioned a refereeing decision each time, despite acknowledging his side had not been good enough to make such complaints relevant. Only one manager has constantly tried to distract from their own man-made disasters by pointing frantically at the natural catastrophe of a debatable officiating call in the distance”

Did you write this yourself?BOYSIE31 wrote:https://www.football365.com/news/sean-d ... ey-excuses
Thought it was a pretty pointless article with no other agenda than to slag off Sean Dyche.
You keep saying those that support Dyche need to remove their claret specs or remove their heads from the sand, yet you seem to have this idea that there is someone out there that can do a better job, playing a better style of football on the same budget.

Dyche is the only manager who has complained about the officials or VAR in the last few weeks ?

Re: Good read
"The teams Burnley have beaten this season are currently 17th, 18th and 19th. Throw in two wins over a stagnant Bournemouth, struggling Brighton and relegated Cardiff, as well as victories against Championship-bound Fulham and Huddersfield, a volatile West Ham, Wolves and a Tottenham side in free-fall at Turf Moor, and you have the sum total of their league wins since the start of last season."
He may as well have said "If you ignore all of Burnley's league wins since the start of last season, Burnley haven't won a league game since the start of last season. Surely when he got halfway through this point, he realised it was a bit of a stretch?

To have a decent discussion 1st have a decent topic

Some exaggerations, some fair points.

Well the bloke who wrote it isnt a Burnley fan for a start so this is how we are being seen outside of the claret bubble.

Neither are you....the thing you do have in common though Is making stuff up to try and fit your viewBOYSIE31 wrote:Well the bloke who wrote it isnt a Burnley fan for a start so this is how we are being seen outside of the claret bubble.
Re: Good read
the "Tottenham side in freefall" had won their four previous league games

Re: Good or bad read
We would be relegated without Dyche. Let us not make the mistakes of teams like Blackburn who potted Allardyce for his long ball tactics.

As I posted these stats elsewhere, we have made a success of getting points from the bottom clubs. (21 points from 40 last season).
So what's the problem with that?

Nothing wrong with that at all.Spijed wrote:So what's the problem with that?
Just a jealous Blackburn fan posting a negative “article” to stir it up on our message board. Don’t fall for it... Let’s face it, he’s on a high this week; they’ve just won for the first time in weeks in front of a bumper 14k crowd at home and the Clarets have lost a few. Once we bounce back from our mini slump, he’ll crawl back under his rock from whence he came.
No one’s seriously asking for Dyche out. Never have and never will. He’s the only reason we’re here and the only reason we’ll stay in this league. Many a unhappy/greedy/uneducated fanbase have come before us and hounded out their manager in place of “success” and then dropped like a stone. I’d like to believe our fans aren’t as thick as that.
