Looks as if our former player might have found a club

Good for him. Always liked Wallace. Hard working, technically good and delivered some vital goals from set pieces and crosses. Played a big part in that winner at Ewood!

Set up the equaliser too, and assisted the almost-carbon-copy Shackell goal in the season before.

Strange that he and Stanislas were often slated in here.

Not strange at all, quite simple. He was signed by Bison Head and used to play for PNE, that is enough for many to dislike and slate him.

The mercurial nature of the winger and their art often makes them targets for the boo-boys.

Ruined a perfectly good carpet with that comment. Just spat hot chocolate all over it.

Very true, Lord Beamish, very true.

Very true, for those who saw him play, ‘Taffy’ James used to get lots of stick, despite being one of our most skilful, exciting and productive players.

Remember Willie Morgan not always being everyone's favourite.Certainly in his early days with us.

True.
Can remember vividly being stood in the Longside listening to blokes sagging Taffy off, when he was on a bad run.

A bit of passage-of-time making the heart grow fonder I think. A few great moments... notably that equaliser at Leicester... but a great deal of mediocrity and frustration too. Certainly doesn’t merit comparison with Leighton James or Willie Morgan. Glad he’s found a home though.
