Re: Barnes new deal
Great news.
But we need to be looking to bring in the next one at some point soon.

Re: Barnes new deal
Good news, but with him and Jay both 31 next year, we need to start looking at a longer term replacement.
Hopefully that will be this summer when we lose Vydra giving whoever it is a season to get upto speed.
But gives us 1 less position to worry about for a season or 2.
Don't think news regards Jeff's contract will be too far away either...

I was concerned that the full force of the GrammarNazi will be on me so I had to check... I was right (in the use of the word, not in that Barnes is passed it - he's not )Damo wrote:My brother said this. I'm currently arguing with him the its "past his best"

Re: Barnes new deal
It's the difference between "he has passed" or "he is past".
But he is neither, this is good for both club and player.

Sorry, I didnt mean to be a grammar nazi. The only reason I contested it is because he is the biggest one I knowRick_Muller wrote:I was concerned that the full force of the GrammarNazi will be on me so I had to check... Re: Barnes new deal
If we get relegated we'll need Ashley, and he would score plenty in the Championship, makes total sense either way.Spijed wrote:So, preparing for the Championship then!
