BERNLEY TEA

Post by claret59 » Fri Nov 08, 2019 10:56 am

Not living in the town I was wondering if Bernley Tea (spelt differently to Burnley) had any connection with Burnley. My son , recently returned from a holiday in Russia , and knowing I am a fan of the team, brought me some back as a gift. The package shows our Houses of Parliament which would seem to give it some UK connection although 'Google' has it originating in the East but it is described as 'English Classic.' Just wondered where the name comes from . Is it a local rival to Yorkshire and Lancashire teas?

Nothing to do with England, other than being English tea. It's a tie up between a Sri Lankan brand and a Russian brand.
