Tenable next,I love being retired
Re: Head hunters on BBC 1 now
I quite like it because it gives minorities* the chance to shine... We watch it on catch up as we missed it while on holiday...
Watched episode number 15 yesterday when an overweight Welsh guy* won 5k ...
The 1st bloke to win was of an ethnic minority (unless you live in Blackburn or Bradford )

I opened this thread thinking it was going to be about cannibals or the recruitment industry. Hate quiz shows and daytime telly makes me feel like I’m a student, on the dole or I suppose retired.

What is this Head Hunters and are you being dwarfist about Tenable? By the way have you heard the one about the guy who thinks you, Boss and me are the same person? If you rolled the three of us into one there'd be a lifetimes work for a good psychiatrist.Steve1956 wrote:Tenable next,I love being retired

I record and/or watch every episode. One of the better quiz shows that they rotate for daytime TV and the questions aren't always easy.

Re: Head hunters on BBC 1 now
He has a dry humour. Once heard him being interviewed on local radio and he was quite funny. He was on about having to go to the end of the bar in a crowded pub and peep under the flap to get served but the interviewer asked him what's the worst thing about being a dwarf (he had previously said it was an okay term and far better than midget, which he found not surprisingly a tad offensive)and his answer was simply 'being small'. He was referring to the fact that he was completely at ease with who he was and what he was but he was constantly p!ssed off with being unable to get stuff done because 'supermarkets aren't designed for kids'. It was an interesting listen. The main thing is he has had a bloody brilliant life, he's well off and is on first name terms with some of the biggest names in the film industry. Great bloke.conyoviejo wrote:I like Tenable, just for Warwick's crap jokes ..

Shock horror. Blackman captains team to a Head Hunters win.
Excellent questions, tougher than most other daytime offerings.
We record it and then FF through all that buying teammate garbage. You can watch the whole show in under 15mins.
