Norwich v Watford
What would be best for us from this a draw,or maybe a Norwich win ? Would really like to see Watford go down.

Best for us would be a Watford win or a draw, with Watford to then continue losing.
Re: Norwich v Watford
I still think Watford will get out of it and expect them to win this one.

A draw is best, these two go down then only one more place to worry about, and Southampton can have that !ClaretAndJew wrote:Best for us would be a Watford win or a draw, with Watford to then continue losing.

After suffering "Rocketman" in the Ships cinema while on holiday (although Taron Egerton was brilliant as usual) Watford can go (and take Narch)

Draw best result
2 points shared instead of 3 points

Re: Norwich v Watford
Agree with DAVETHEVICAR, nearly always the best if teams below draw. Same 1 point apiece tomorrow for Saints v Toffees too. And whilst we're at it- Villa & Wolves can have a draw on Sunday too.
Bournemouth to beat Newcastle and us to beat WHU would complete a good weekend.

Re: Norwich v Watford
Probably a draw is best for us which keeps us 4 ahead of Norwich
and 6 points ahead of Watford.
More importantly is whether we can get 3 points against West Ham.
Certainly not lose otherwise the gap narrows.
Expect Watford to start getting some results.

Hopefully a 4-4 draw.
A point a piece but they will get chosen for more sky games if they entertain.
Leave us alone for the Saturday 3pms

Watford 1-0
Re: Norwich v Watford
The absolute state of Norwich. Some people really thought they’d be a surprise package because of their football, whereas their football is precisely the reason they’re heading down in stone dead last place.

Have to agree. Said same when we played them. Love playing teams like that. Teams that try to play like Barcelona, forgetting they are Norwich.SGr wrote:The absolute state of Norwich. Maybe similar to us beating Man United ten years agoTall Paul wrote:They're garbage. How they managed to beat Man City I'll never know.

Very similar I think yes. Like us they caught teams off guard at the start of the year but they’ve been sussed now.
Re: Norwich v Watford
Watford’s defence is in a bad way too. It was last season but summer came it’s £40m on Ismaïla Sarr, a future prospect and their biggest defensive addition was Craig Dawson. What were they smoking?

Re: Norwich v Watford
Norwich remind me off Fulham & Mitrovic last season, came storming out the gates with a talismanic striker then the goals dried up and thier defense was an absolute shambles.
At least Norwich didn't spend Fulham type money.

Re: Norwich v Watford
Watford definitely have the thickest team in the league. Full of hotheads with zero discipline or game management ability
Re: Norwich v Watford
With the number of goals conceded last season it was always going to be a problem staying up.
They score 3 we score 4 can never work in the Prem.

Re: Norwich v Watford
Norwich can get 5 shots on target and we got 0 against Sheffield
Re: Norwich v Watford
I can't see Watford going down with the quality they have. Fancy them to end up comfortable in mid-table.

Re: Norwich v Watford
Norwich are in freefall, since they beat Man City they've obtained 1 point out of a possible 21,and that dire run includes games against Burnley,Villa,Brighton and now Watford, and in those 7 games they've managed just 2 goals,if you can't pick up results against teams likely to be in the mix come May,you've not got much hope of mounting a survival bid.
Re: Norwich v Watford
They were 2/1 to be relegated after we played them. I lumped on that.
Re: Norwich v Watford
First priority for any newly promoted side (especially one on a tight budget) should be to try and make themselves more difficult to beat.
Norwich turn up at places like Turf Moor and try to play liquid football with championship players. Genuine insanity.
