Strange evenings.
I've had a bit of a weird one.
Had a few shandies after work in manchester, and met some random bloke near my flat on the way home. Spoke no English but had a bus ticket to get to London.
Took him to the bus who refused to let him in as he was steaming.
Ended up giving him an old Burnley shirt and sending him on a later bus. He can barely say Burnley.
Hope he gets back to Bulgaria telling of the great welcoming people of Manchester and the mighty clarets.

I've sent him on his way with a 04/05 hunters Burnley shirt. With chaplow on the back. If you see him say hi.

Bring back the 60's when words only had one meaning.

Re: Strange evenings.
I've just pondered on the above post and realised that may not be quite accurate.
I think my mum & dad might have each owned a duster but certainly not used them for the same purpose !

Re: Strange evenings.
Was he topless? Or was the Burnley shirt your way of bargaining with him to f**k off?

It was worse, he had a United shirt on! Now he's a claret.
