Re: Why did Peligrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
Because for the second season running he was terrified of and unable to take on Bardsley.

Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
Because he was an utter disgrace. Ducking and shirking out of challenges and showing a general disinterest in working for his team.
It took some doing, but he was the worst West Ham player on in terms of effort and attitude.

Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
Probably because he was bloody awful.
Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
In terms of errors and mistakes yes, but not in terms of attitude.RalphCoatesComb wrote:There were far worse that him wearing dark blue today.

If you are coming off the back of three poor results West Ham are the perfect opposition to put things right

Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
I was listening to the game on BBC Radio London. The West Ham supporting commentators/pundit said that Phil Bardsley had let Anderson know he was here in the game last season.... and Anderson was playing today and showing he remembered that challenge.MT03ALG wrote:He was frightened of Phil

Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
Second time he's played here and second time he's offered virtually nothing
Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
Probably the most underwhelming display from an opposition player I've seen this season. Spent the whole game 15 yards outside our penalty area playing 5 yard passes, didn't even attempt to cause Bardsley any issues 1v1.

You can't knock his consistency.ClaretTony wrote:Second time he's played here and second time he's offered virtually nothing

Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
He was taken off for his very bad impression of a professional footballer
Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
He was a waste of a shirt.
The likes of Noble must be embarrassed that they have players like him with so little fight in them.
Anderson had a very good first few months for them and he murdered us down at there place last year. Since then he has been rubbish. How can a player with his ability be on their bench as much as he has been recently ?

Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
My confidence skyrocketed when I saw Noble going off. It’s not his quality, it’s the fact he wouldn’t have allowed them to just lie down the way they did after going one or two goals down. They were completely devoid of leadership second half.TVC15 wrote:He was a waste of a shirt.

Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
He’s a quality player - when he fancies being. Today was not one of those days. I’m surprised there was any surprise that he was hooked.

Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
I saw Rice bollock the keeper CB when he had nodded behind and the keeper should have shouted
Re: Why did Pellegrini withdraw Felipe Anderson?
After his **** up, their keeper pulled of a series of top drawer saves.Burnley1989 wrote:I saw Rice bollock the keeper CB when he had nodded behind and the keeper should have shouted
