Just been confirmed on BBC South West news that Brownhill is expected to join Burnley.

They did the same when signing Snodgrass ..who we were linked with at the time.

I know but BBC SW is very Bristol-based and is pretty good at “knowing” - but you could be right. Nothing over the line.

don’t start me off on the whole “bigger club” malarkey - West Ham are not a bigger club, there are no “bigger clubs” outside the top 6-8 clubs - and West Ham are not one of them.

I have had a few dents from playing football and due to the odd careless comments in working men’s clubs so I am thankful I never gambled.

We don’t ‘need’ a wide man. We have McNeill, Hendrick, Lennon, Brady and JBG. It would be nice and I’m sure that position will be on our shopping list in summer but we don’t need to sign someone in that position today.

Too late in the day to think about offloading anyone now. I don't think even Vydra will be allowed to leave before the summer. We have our back up in midfield which was our main priority.
