They did the same when signing Snodgrass ..who we were linked with at the time.

I know but BBC SW is very Bristol-based and is pretty good at “knowing” - but you could be right. Nothing over the line.

don’t start me off on the whole “bigger club” malarkey - West Ham are not a bigger club, there are no “bigger clubs” outside the top 6-8 clubs - and West Ham are not one of them.

If Brownhill is seriously considering West Ham, he would do well to remember Jordan Hugill.

Surely one of the main drivers of this proposed move was the players desire to return to the Northwest.

Unless the porno barons turn his head with a wheelbarrow load of dosh.....

He has links up north and why would he want to be in a relegation battle with a decent chance of being back in the same league he's leaving. Money maybe but can't see it myself.

Agreed. Get one of them in and it’ll have been an excellent window.

We don’t ‘need’ a wide man. We have McNeill, Hendrick, Lennon, Brady and JBG. It would be nice and I’m sure that position will be on our shopping list in summer but we don’t need to sign someone in that position today.

Too late in the day to think about offloading anyone now. I don't think even Vydra will be allowed to leave before the summer. We have our back up in midfield which was our main priority.
