There's a nice "glass floor" in the spinnaker, right by the Saint's halo, standing on there and looking down isn't for those with acrophobia.
Nice area to visit around there though (but not necessarily for Simon Templar fans).

Barnes and Wood

Post by northernpowerhouse » Tue Nov 12, 2019 9:08 pm

By my calculations they've scored 33 goals in the 36 games they've started together (18 for Barnes, 15 for Wood).

Not bad.

Chris Wood has made 59 PL starts for Burnley and scored 20 goals, in addition he has come on as a sub in 13 PL games and scored 5 goals ---not a bad rate for a striker.

A gaff is a sailing term
SAILING
a spar to which the head of a fore-and-aft sail is bent.
"a gaff-rigged cutter"

Plus the Spinaker Tower is based on a Sail.... perhaps there is small gaff rigged cutter sailing vessel in the picture ;)

How did that happen... perhaps "a doorway" has been opened between the realms like in "His Dark Materials" on Sunday night, that confused the Mrs

Yes!

Gaff - a place to stay.
Gaffe - an unintentional error.

Perhaps they are code for Barnes and Wood!

I used to be sea scout House .... gave it up when my tent sank :(

Its called a life of quizzing and doing crosswords m8 .... a hell of a lot of crap floating around in my head.... (floating /sailing   pun not intended....) and google of course :D

We won a bottle of wine on the cruise by me knowing "Barbara Millicent Roberts" is the full name of Barbie the doll... the other teams said I was sad for knowing that... so as we walked out and held up my bottle of P&O house red and said "yeah but I am the 'Sad one' with the bottle of wine" to great cheers from my team and the Bar Staff.

Bet it was hard work rubbing two sticks together to make fire.

And SERIOUSLY Boss - how the f!ck would you know that a bloody doll even has a 'real' name? That has got to be the most weird piece of information ever. It's a bit like knowing Father Christmas' real name.*

*Go on - I know you're dying to tell me.

That sounds like the name of a pervert in a horror film.

Mother: Now be good and go to sleep.
Child: Must I mother.
Mother: Oh yes dear, if you don't Kris Kringle might pay you a visit and he doesn't like children that don't sleep at night.
Child: Okay mother.
Mother: Now just keep an eye on the wardrobe door dear.
