Padiham FC

Post by Funkydrummer » Tue Nov 12, 2019 7:43 pm

In the absence of our interest in footy this weekend, Padiham are at home to Runcorn Town FC.

KO 1500 hrs.

Anyone else going ?

Might do, either that or Barlick. It’s a great day out for a change. Few beers in a local and a pie

Think it’s about £8, not sure if you get discount with a season ticket, I’ve never had mine with me

Sometimes it's free with your season ticket and sometimes it's £3.

A few beers and two lots of pie and peas - one in each half !!!

. knows it is £6 for adults. He expects they will do the offer of £3 for adults if a Burnley/ Accrington/ Blackburn season ticket is produced at the gate.

I think OAP's are £3 without a season ticket because I once gained entry for free with £3 off
for having my season ticket. The next time, and subsequent times, I have refused to get on for free
and have valiantly coughed up £3.

They need the dosh.

Padiham had a good 25 minutes until Funkydrummer ate his pie and peas.
It went down hill from then. Despite saving a penalty Padiham went down 0-2.
Late on they went down to 10 men after a stupid tackle on a Runcorn player that had gone out of play. 2nd yellow for him in a short space of time gave him an early bath.

Calling No6, calling No6 !!!! Great to see you QTT and catch up with the goss and put all things Claret and Blue in order.

Pie and peas were very good, shame I had to wait so long for the beer !! Was excellent when I did finally take part though.

Cheers.
