Some would have him playing for England already, that U21s team is stacked with future top players in my opinion

Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahah.

An unused sub? Behind who?

Last night I watched a set of lads who don't get a game for their clubs representing England. And McNeil can't get a game for the U21s even though he's on more assists than almost everyone else of his age across the top European leagues?

What a joke.

Aye definitely should be starting above the likes of Foden because he has more assists than him

Boothroyd played him on the left wing in one game I watched, and I mean exclusively as a winger; you don't see that very often because it's a luxury in the modern game that very few teams can afford.
Nothing to do with ability or assists in the PL, just a tactical thing.

I’m personally glad he’s not playing in meaningless international games. I’d prefer that he did not risk injury.

They share these things amongst the squad. No big deal.

I really hope Foden lives up to the hype when he starts playing first team football. He's 5' 6" which might not matter in the U18's league but will be interesting when he comes up against his peers in central midfield in the Premier League. He's played 31 minutes of Premier League football this season and he'll be 20 before the season ends. He's the best player Pep has ever seen for his age, so when is he going to be ready?

Young lads develop physically at different ages and still plenty of time for him to grow some more / fill out, but even if he doesn't being small never stopped the likes of Maradona, Messi, Xavi or scholes, not that I am comparing him to them talent wise (yet).

Or the entire city team. They are the shortest in the league.

Will be interesting to see how City decide to replace David Silva. That will surely give Foden a more regular place if he’s as good as Pep says he is.
