I've heard some of the songs. He's not a bad singer if you like that sort of thing.

He’s not a bad singer but neither is he a good singer. Far, far better than him.

He seems to have made a very good career for himself at not being very good at stuff.
Only just remember him as a player - tough / dirty player from memory
Failed as a manager
Poor pundit / commentator - who struggles to put together a coherent sentence...but a bit like Merson that has worked to his benefit (could have gone either way that one when you look what happened to the likes of Dean Windass who was just as incoherent and got booted off sky)
Poor programme host who got carried by the professionals like Ben Shepherd.
And now a poor singer - but gets an album

But all that said he is obviously doing something right - so good luck to him as he cashes in. He may well be a genius off camera who is very eloquent and posh speaking and wiles away his days reading Dostoevsky and Friedrich Nietzsche and all this thick Yorkshire bloke from the 1980s is one big rouse. !

Did he not do ok at Bradford or is my memory playing tricks?
I doubt Ben shepherd could carry anyone, he's one of the worst on TV.

He carried him on Goals on Sunday for years - kammy can’t even read from the auto cue.
Kammy is just naff - feels like he is still stuck in the 1980s with the stuff he comes out with !
I am surprised at the comment he doesn’t like Burnley though as he has a lot of good things to say about Dyche and our players when he is going through our games on GOS

Shepherd was like a fan caught in the spotlight, never asks the difficult questions, in fact hardly ever asked any questions, a least kammy did the tactical summary, he certainly isn't as thick as merson

He took over from Lenny Lawrence, initially as caretaker in the November and they went on a run towards the end which saw them get to the playoff final and beat Notts County to get promoted

It was at Stoke he didn’t do so well lasting 3months winning 1 in 14
