Blimey it's going to take us ten years to reach such dizzy heights.

I would love it if they stayed up.

They are doing really well when one considers that they were playing with their youth players at the beginning of the seaon Their last 12 points from 8 games. Think they will make it.

I can’t see them avoiding relegation, but a spirited go at doing so will stand them in good stead for next season, come what may.

Still 12 points adrift of safety although they have three games in hand. But they are likely to get a further points deduction for failing to fulfill a fixture earlier in the season.

I would hope so. An obvious advantage to teams playing them at the beginning of the season and I can fully understand the complaints of teams playing them now. Even a struggling team like Rochdale put 8 goals past them in a League game then a cup game a little later.

Horrible club. From bricking our coaches to Gartside being in charge.

They deserve all they get and more.

Football League keep putting the day back when the punishment for not fulfilling the 2 fixtures is announced
It will now be this coming Wednesday.
Other league 1 and 2 clubs are asking for 9-12 points further deductions.

Yeah, because we have absolutely no plonkers who would brick an opponents coach..... :?

9 has to be the minimum. So very lucky to be where they are currently. Starting next season in Div.2 is too good for them.

I'm not saying we haven't.

But I don't expect any fans to have come to Burnley and had their coach bricked to feel sorry for us.

I still can’t understand why Bolton were treated differently to Bury. Bury had a team but weren’t allowed to start the season, Bolton didn’t have a team and were?

Hate everything about Bolton.

Bolton were in administration - I don’t think they should have been allowed to start a season in admin but the rules don’t prevent it.

Bury were not in administration but all attempts to get the required information from the owner fell on deaf ears. Ultimately the league had no option with them.

Two different scenarios had to be treated differently although I do think that Bolton were very fortunate.

When Middlesbrough failed to fulfil a fixture against Blackburn a few years back, they were fined 3 points. I doubt Bolton will be fined more for this season's missed game, because the league has shown every sign of wanting not to be unkind.

Whether they will get away with last season's missed game, I don't know. The League might deduct them 3 points from last year's tally and hope no-one notices they're being silly.

Strange how the town of Horwich took on the ‘Wanderers’ franchise but because they also kept the Bolton name nobody batted an eyelid.

What Rammy said. Although I'm not "obsessing" over it, just looking forward to the anniversary.

I won't forgive Coyle, unless he apologizes and admits it was the wrong thing to do.

And it isn't really anything to do with Bolton (I've no particular gripe with the club over and above any other random club).

It's just a date to remind Coyle.

No more, no less.

Some people are like a school girl not getting over being dumped.

Remember the good times we had.

Took some balls coming to the 10 year anniversary a few months ago, so fair play to him.

I'm not convinced that their financial problems are over yet.
