Would you want to employ this man

He complains he's not been employed because of a conspiracy by all 32 of the NFL owners for racist reasons. There are more back players in the NFL than white. Maybe it's just because he's not a very good quarterback and a trouble maker. 49'ers have vastly imptoved over the last 3 seasons since they got rid of him.

He is being kept out by a conspiracy over his stand against racism. In the country of free speech that should be a no-no.
He’s also a very good QB and many teams need one.

I'd employ him as a Marouane Fellaini lookalike.

Re: Would you want to employ this man
He's not a very good quarterback, but its hard to see why in three seasons he's not got a backup position.
Its clear that for him tackling societal injustice is his priority, and playing for an nfl team would be a good platform for exercising that. Football hasn't been his priority for years.
I wish him well but he's clutching at straws here, he's not getting signed because he isn't good enough.

Re: Would you want to employ this man
I think it highly unlikely that there is a conspiracy. He would make a decent back up. He could probably do a better job than 3 or 4 starters.
However, he comes with the baggage that nfl teams just don't want - a media circus. That doesn't work well in a sport where the team generally takes priority over any individual. The same happened when an openly gay lb went into the draft. It was all about him being gay rather than being a half decent lb prospect.
His starting career probably floundered when the rival defences worked out that he was pretty poor wheeling out in one direction and very good in the other. He's certainly no Russell Wilson.
Anyhow, although I can't stand the niners, I have every respect for what he did (the kneeling, the bringing issues to the forefront of discussion in the US and beyond, not his qb play)

Re: Would you want to employ this man
Amongst current NFL QBs I'd rate him purely on talent in around 40-50th.
I watched him for San Francisco and he got found out quickly. An athletic specimen but not a quarterback. We looked better when Blaine Gabbert came in and he's out of the league now as well.
Respect his views and agree its an important issue, but he isn't good enough to be a QB.

He's taking a stand against the Racism that is systemic in America, he knelt down during the national anthem to protest the shootings of innocent African Americans by the police...........the owners have colluded to keep him out of the game!

Re: Would you want to employ this man
Is he any good in midfield ?
Re: Would you want to employ this man
If he is any good in goal, think what he could do to start attacks!
