Ian Wright isn't exactly coming across well.

Haven't watched it, won't, and haven't read anything about it, but if it keeps Wright off the TV in the future then it's a result.Bosscat wrote:Not seen a bit of it Frank and I don't think (as was in our paper) Wrighty crying for his 'Mummy' will make me want to watch it either.....

Exactly right frank. Bit of a bully tbh... Andy Maxwell is a little bit annoying fair enough, but Wright is being a proper knob.FactualFrank wrote:Anybody still watching?

Re: I’m a Celebrity....
I've been watching,it's not captured my imagination like last years series did,and they need to make the bushtucker trials harder,i can't remember the last time any celeb passed on a trial,or failed to gain a lot of stars.
There does appear to be a lot of petty arguments springing up over nothing,of course we only see the edited version,so there might be incidents happening that the viewers aren't privy too.
Caitlyn Jenner will win,but beyond that the minor placings are tough to call.
I can sort of see Ian Wright's POV,if you have an allotted task then you should carry out that task when required, regardless of how many stars you've just won,but he explodes really quickly over such small issues.
I dread to imagine what camp life will be like if Wrighty's voted camp leader,he uses the sledgehammer to crack a nut approach, and there's several camp mates that'll rub up the wrong way.

I was thinking the same regarding Caitlyn Jenner, and was surprised to see her not one of the top 3 favourites. She was 10/1. Even now she's still 4th fave @ 6/1.tiger76 wrote:I've been watching,it's not captured my imagination like last years series did,and they need to make the bushtucker trials harder,i can't remember the last time any celeb passed on a trial,or failed to gain a lot of stars.

Re: I’m a Celebrity....
I do like this, it's the only 'reality' TV I watch, but it is a tad boring up to now. Jacklyn is good because she moans and cries a lot but ultimately always comes through in a trial which takes guts I suppose. Wrighty is whinging a lot but again he gets on with it when he has to. It's a hard call to pick a winner though but Caitlyn must stand a chance as she is coming across as like-able and unfaseable (is that even a word?). My only problem with her (and it's not her fault) is when I look at her all I see is a bloke - arms, legs, hands, face, shoulders all totally masculine, it actually feels odd calling her 'her'. Do like her though.

The best thing about this show is that you get to see some of your z list favourites warts n all. Ian Wright is not showing himself in the way that Crooked Harry did last series....so basically when you go on make yourself look relatively nice and humble if you can

Re: I’m a Celebrity....
Oh dear Ian and James didn't find that trial so easy, about time they had to work for the stars.
Caitlyn and Andy leader and deputy,i think they'll make a good team.
Cliff should be first out,i don't see what he's offering to the camp,he can't do most of the trials, and even when he was doing the dingo dollar challenge with Adele he gave up quickly.

it's a bit like the PL,the top 4 seem nailed on looking at the odds,Andy Whyment,Roman Kemp,Caitlyn Jenner and perhaps surprisingly Jac Jossa are way odds-on to be the final 4.FactualFrank wrote:I was thinking the same regarding Caitlyn Jenner, and was surprised to see her not one of the top 3 favourites. The favourite to go first is Andy Maxwell which confuses me,but he has been involved in several stand-up arguments, which may count against him.

Re: I’m a Celebrity....
I was slightly surprised with Andy Whyment being the fave as soon as he came in, but I wonder if the fact that it's on straight after Corrie on Monday-Wednesday-Friday has anything to do with it. And really, Wright should be the first to go.tiger76 wrote:it's a bit like the PL,the top 4 seem nailed on looking at the odds,Andy Whyment,Roman Kemp,Caitlyn Jenner and perhaps surprisingly Jac Jossa are way odds-on to be the final 4.

Re: I’m a Celebrity....
I thought Whyment would liven things up a bit because he is genuinely funny but thus far he has been relatively quiet. Like him though. Jac is good - just gets on with it despite being scared of everything. Very brave girl well out of her comfort zone. Maxwell is a moaning git and I wouldn't miss him at all. Wrighty is a screaming tit but I expect he will do well because he also does it when he has to despite all the moans. And what's the point of 'Minty'? Nice bloke and I like him but what has he contributed? And he's been excused from two trial votes. Why?FactualFrank wrote:I was slightly surprised with Andy Whyment being the fave as soon as he came in, but I wonder if the fact that it's on straight after Corrie on Monday-Wednesday-Friday has anything to do with it. Excused on medical grounds, which does beg the question as to why they invite people in who won't be able to do them.

Re: I’m a Celebrity....
I know, surely they have to pass some kind of medical before they go in. I thought he was 'excused' the first time because it was very narrow tunnels and he is a bit on the large side but that wasn't the case the second time I don't think. Can you imagine the outcry though if they said 'Cliff has been excused because he's too fat'. Oh my days, fatism!!!FactualFrank wrote:Excused on medical grounds, which does beg the question as to why they invite people in who won't be able to do them.

Ah Steve, these people are the cream of the celebrity circuit. You're just slightly out of touch in Scotland. Come back mate, surely the bailiffs will have forgotten you by now? You do realise that you are Scotland's only resident tax exile don't you? All will be forgiven, the Burnley Building Society doesn't even exist any more, they won't remember a thing.Steve1956 wrote:I think the term is scraping the bottom of the barrel Frank, who are these people ffs.

Next time it's on Steve sit down with a nice plate of haggis and neeps, washed down with some freshly produced highland moonshine and finished off with a nice deep fried mars bar. It'll be the perfect evening. It might even get Mrs Steve in the mood (then you're in trouble).Steve1956 wrote:Exactly...who are they, and Wright has always been a knob I dont need to watch that jungle programme to know that

That would be class, sadly a large number of the characters on here wouldn't be as opinionated in "semi real life" which would be a real shame.Steve1956 wrote:I think they would be better getting 12 blokes off Up The Clarets and putting them in the jungle it would definitely be more interesting than that shower of nobodies that are in there now.
