Opted for the Wales game as N. Ireland will finish 3rd in the playoffs and Germany have qualified. Wales can qualify with a win so could see an attacking game.Tricky Trevor wrote:Germany v NI for me.

Magyars v Corbyn would be fun
Reckon Corbyn would be lucky to get nil after the match against the USSR in 1956 or thereabouts
Certainly destroyed that great team with Puskas and other moving to the West

Not at all, Corbyn spoke with gut and integrity, and policies that will only help our communities.

No, it isn't. That's baby slang. Like calling a dog a bow wow. And there isn't an English word for "free header." That's two words.Bosscat wrote:The welah for microwave is "Poppety Ping"
Anyhow, I don't care much now. We've qualified - for what will probably be the most rubbish euro finals ever with host countries all over the place.

In a football match, challenges are supposed to be below the belt.FactualFrank wrote:I wonder which will have the most own goals and below the belt challenges.

Gareth Bale looks like he'll be in more trouble with Madrid fans (and it seems he's given up caring about that). Sam Vokes got himself nicely positioned for the photo at least.
RM take themselves far to seriously to laugh this off.

Just pray you don't have the pleasure of visiting Baku UEFA have came to their senses and the 2024 tournament will be hosted in Germany.timshorts wrote:No, it isn't. That's baby slang. Like calling a dog a bow wow. And there isn't an English word for "free header." That's two words.

Kudos to Wales they started the qualifying slowly, but when they had to they stepped up to the plate,if they can get their first XI on the pitch next summer they'll be a tricky proposition for anybody.
Re: Wales vs Hungary / Boris vs Corbyn
Quite a decent article that. Madrid have a pretty poor record for chewing players up and spitting them out. Every year there appear to be players that they unsettle by feeding stories via the press that they want to sign them, and another lot of players that they are trying to offload.LeadBelly wrote:Gareth Bale looks like he'll be in more trouble with Madrid fans (and it seems he's given up caring about that). I don't have any empathy for Madrid fans. They appear to be man u but worse. La liga could be one of the best leagues in Europe, but as long as real and barca fleece the others for TV money, it'll remain about as exciting as the Scottish premiership - but with more being entitled to fall over as they felt touched.
Re: Wales vs Hungary / Boris vs Corbyn
Baku is the best grand prix formula 1 circuit about. It's making a decent effort to put itself onto the sporting map. It doesn't appear to suffer from the racial abuse issues either.tiger76 wrote:Just pray you don't have the pleasure of visiting Baku UEFA have came to their senses and the 2024 tournament will be hosted in Germany.

It wasn't necessarily a comment on the city,i was considering more the travelling required to reach there, whatever games it hosts next summer let's hope there's a better atmosphere than the EL final.timshorts wrote:Baku is the best grand prix formula 1 circuit about.
