Papers saying that would cost Levy £12.5m, this morning. He won’t be a happy bunny.
I think we have no need to fret over his replacement.

Just seen on the BBC sport app! Massive news, shame it's just before we play them, just our luck! Wouldn't be surprised if it was mutual.

"You're sacked, Poch".
"I'm sacked!"
"Great. Mutually agreed. Thanks"

Bloody hell, don't stand on ceremony.

Not surprised, but they haven't been too patient imo.

Off to Madrid then !!

I would have thought they’d have tried to keep him for the season at least. He’s done a fair amount of throwing his toys about this season, but spurs fans think with good reason. They will not be happy campers I would not have thought.

Half a billion quid and diddly squat to show for it . Klop just pulled it off or he’d have been looking down a similar barrel . Daft decision but most on here could manage the big 6

Seams odd timing with it being “after” the international weekend, which could mean somebody is already in place to take over

Wow, didn't see that coming. Thought he'd see out a underwhelming season then walk.

Must have been lining some one up over this international break.

Dyche 8/13 favourite .... Levy looking for a British manager used to operating within a budget, due to the new stadium cost over-runs .... also commutable from Kettering for Sean, just over an hour. Burnley have rebuffed their initial approach, Spurs also want Woan and Billy Mercer, the goal-keeping Coach, for understandable reasons ..

Has worked wonders there with one arm tied behind his back. Levy hasn't helped him by letting 4 key players all get into the final year of their contract.

Clearly a lot going on behind the scenes at Spurs.
Results have been awful, strange messages from the boss in his interviews etc.
Can’t say I’m surprised.

Half a billion on what? He’s spent naff all.

Klopp? The man has a net spend of under £80m at Liverpool and transformed them completely.

Bad decision I think but that's the way it's going now- no medium/longer term view.
Jose well favourite with most bookies who have odds yet https://www.oddschecker.com/football/fo ... nt-manager

Tim Sherwood 100/1- get on there.

Eddie Howe would be a right appointment for both parties. Howe deserves a crack at a big club and I reckon Spurs would be a good fit

Post 21 has it spot on. Levy has caused all this with allowing so many players to get to their final season together. Poch could see it coming wanted replacements and was denied.
Kane might want out on top of the OOCs.

It's crazy, what is the manager supposed to do with someone like Eriksen, who is one of their best players but has clearly already mentally checked out.

Howe won't go to Spurs.

He's got a good job at Bournemouth, barring as disaster it's a job for life.
They're getting a new stadium, he plays a good style of football and now they're settled in the PL I won't be surprised if they make a push for a European spot in the next few seasons.

Jumping ship to Spurs doesn't instantly guarantee he's going to be challenging for trophies, if anything he's going to have to rebuild their squad all over again.

Betting is changing quickly and it’s thought there will be an early appointment. Mourinho & Benitez are the two most likely.

As mentioned by Sid above Howe won’t go to Spurs, he’s got a job for life at Bournemouth. I think the same could be said of Dyche. They both have it good and run the clubs how they want to, and I can’t see that changing soon.

Benitez only has 3 games to go in China season. His team are only 9th, he might be happy to get out and turn his back on his £12m contract. Family still living in NW if SD goes we are a shoe-in for him(t-i-c)

Understand that but it’s beyond that. To be playing with four players running down their contracts and one of them showing precious little interest in the games I’ve seen, that’s appalling management by someone.

I read this morning that they wouldn’t sack him and pay the compensation they would wait until someone came in for him and get a fee for him. I wonder if this has made OGS more nervous.

If Spurs choose Jose as their new manager then it will prove Levy has lost his grip on the situation.
